A yanyuedao is a simple weapon similar to a glaive that has a large blade that curves greatly to resemble the reclining moon, the weapon holds no direct magical characteristics however it is known to glow in the light of the full moon. The weapon resembles the glaive but is much lighter and quicker, allowing it to be used by quick-footed monks.

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
