Magic Weapon. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage.

Beacon of Triumph. You can cast the spell Holy Aura using this weapon (spell save DC 18). When cast using The Sovereign Blade, this spell does not require concentration. Once you have used The Sovereign Blade to cast this spell, you cannot do so again until the next dawn.

If leading an army while attuned to this blade, your entire army is under the effects of Holy Aura when it is cast, regardless of distance from you.

Paragon Aura. You have immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, and allies within 30 feet of you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. You and allies within 30 feet are also treated as if under the effects of the spell Freedom of Movement. Any creature hostile to you that starts its turn within 30 feet of you must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw, unless you are incapacitated. On a failed save, the creature is frightened until the start of its next turn. If a creature's saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to this effect for the next 24 hours.

If leading an army while attuned to this blade, your entire army is under the effects of Paragon Aura, regardless of distance from you.

Absolute Smite. On a critical hit using this weapon, the target creature and any other hostile creatures within 30 feet of you take 10d6 + 40 radiant damage. A creature reduced to 0 hit points by this damage is reduced to nothingness, and cannot be resurrected by any means.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
