This pair of beautiful white silverish bracers with a zapphire in the center are filled with giant runes that evokes the magic of ancient ice. Legends say these bracers were crafted to carry the will of their wielder, and protect the perople that swore to protect everyone. It's unclear what funnels the power of ice inside the bracers, but the stronger the resolution of their wielder is, the more powerfull they become.
Shield: The right bracelet burst out a block of ice whenever the wielder needs to block an attack. The shield created always addapt to the incoming attack, making the fragile appearance a tool to confuse the opponents. This shield is magical and it's considered a +2 shield. While wielding this shield, your left hand is considered free.
When attuned to this shield, the wielder is protected by Never alone.
Never alone: When the wielder hit points are reduced to 0, they go to 1 instead and the ice burst into 2 giant hands that embrace the user. Indestructible ice covers the wielder completely, making her inmune to any damage, action or effect until the start of her next turn. In this state, the wielder can only be affected by healing and can't take actions or reactions.
When attuned by a Paladin, the sword gains the property Everlasting Defense.
Everlasting defense: Whenever the wielder uses Lay on Hands, and consumes at least 20 hit points from the pool, the ice magic of the shield empowers the protection, giving the target of the heal a bonus to AC and Saving throws equal to the magical bonus of the shield. This effect last until the start of the wielder's next turn.
At level 17: When the wielder reaches level 17, the power of the ice becomes stronger, making the shield +3 and increasing the bonus to AC and saving throws from Everlasting defense +1 for every 20 hit points beyond the first 20.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, user of both bracelets.
