Yamato is a large katana with a dark-forged blade, longer than the japanese blade, with a gold guard. The Tsuka ("handle") has the traditional gold wrapping, with black ornaments, and the Tsuba ("guard") is octagonal. The blade features several intricate ornaments, most notable is a relief of a dragon at the endpoint of the hilt. The scabbard is black, made of traditional lacquered wood, and features several metallic ornaments on its far end. It also features a golden sageo, the cord used to tie the katana to the waist. Previously used by the Great Demon Champion Sparda, The blade was used to seal away the Demon world from the Human world.
Judgement Cut: This weapon is a +3 Katana that deals an additional d8 (d10) magical slashing damage. In addition, it can make a special ranged attack with a range of 30 feet that deals an additional 3d6 force damage. It can be used in place of any normal attack.
Spectral Swords: This sword can cast Spiritual Weapon at will. However, it summons 2 blades instead of 1, but it still only takes a bonus action to cast. It deals 2d8+your spellcasting modifier.
Dimension Slash: Yamato can make two cuts in the fabric in reality, casting the Gate spell. This can be done once per long rest.
Bonded Weapon: Yamato can be summoned at will. This requires a bonus action. You may also shunt it into an alternate dimension as well. It also counts as an arcane focus.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
