A strangely hot piece of coal the size of an adult humanoid's fist. Streaks of ember glow brightly from within the ashen rock, casting a warmth over its small radius. This innocuous piece is called Yennid's Ember, and it is the representation of one of the Children of the Cosmos. This artifact is one of a kind, and will chose its Bearer. Once the Bearer holds the Artifact, it seemingly melts into their body, unable to be removed unless the Bearer is Killed. The Bearer's Soul cannot be brought back to Life unless they have the Artifact.

This Artifact grants the Bearer the supposed ability to walk the Plane of Fire unharmed, and has rumors that speak of the ability to submerge oneself in lava briefly as if it were water.

Once "attuned", no matter their Level, the Bearer is granted Resistance to Fire damage and access to the Fire Bolt cantrip, as well as the spell Hellish Rebuke, able to be used once per day, akin to a Tiefling's natural ability. If you have the Spellcasting feature, the damage can be raised according to the spells' parameters.

Once you have reached Level 10, more Abilities unlock, and more further at Levels 13, 15, 18, and 20. These Abilities stack with the previous Level's Abilities.

Level 10 - Cast the 2nd Level spell Flame Blade at-will.

Level 13 - Cast the 4th Level spell Summon Elemental up to 3 times daily, locked to Fire Elementals. Further your Resistance to Fire and become Immune to Fire Damage. Your at-will Flame Blade Damage is raised to 3d8 Damage from 3d6.

Level 15 - Cast the 4th Level spell Fire Shield at-will. Cast the 3rd Level spell Fireball up to 3 times daily.  Your at-will Flame Blade Damage is raised to 4d8 Damage from 3d8.

Level 18 -  Cast the 3rd Level spell Fireball at-will. Your at-will Flame Blade Damage is raised to 6d8 Damage from 4d8.

Level 20 - Cast the 7th Level spell Firestorm at-will. Cast the 9th Level spell Meteor Swarm up to 3 times daily. Your at-will Flame Blade Damage is raised for a final time to 8d8 Damage from 6d8.
