The Poet's Ruff

You are a poet and you may not know it. An extravagant neck ruff that buffs or debuffs spells or actions.

Whenever the user desires they may attempt to become inspired by an action in conjunction with a rhyming power word as chosen by the DM
If the user can come up with a good rhyme and relay it without delay, the action is improved in some way as described by the DM. If they fail, the action fails while the user stands aloof, hand on chin for the rest of their turn

Example;
User - I want to do a powerful firebolt
DM - Ok the power word is flame
User - My fire power shall not be tame, taste the burn of my almighty flame!
DM - The firebolt explodes on impact dealing additional 1D6 fire damage to all enemies within 10ft

User - I want to do a powerful sword swing
DM - Ok the power word is slice
User - I wish I could hit... erm twice? Like a block of, cheese? you'll become a slice
DM - You attempt to swing but the sword falls out of your hand and hits the floor
