Weapon (battleaxe), artifact (requires attunement by a godless, hopeless creature)

Zin'Fathoth, Armament of Xxiphu, is an artifact closely resembling Fane-Eater, the weapon once wielded by Arkhan the Cruel. Though this weapon seems strangely discolored, the blues and whites it once held changed to sickly yellow bones and bruise-purple metal. If one looks at it long enough, one can swear that it might be staring back.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls with Zin'Fathoth, Armament of Xxiphu. Zin'Fathoth, Armament of Xxiphu is a sentient weapon, with a charisma score of 22, an intelligence score of 21, and a wisdom score of 19. It can understand all languages, but can only speak to the creature attuned to it. It has devil's sight for up to 120 feet. It seeks to give aid to creatures which have truly lost hope, though to truly nefarious ends - or so one might think, as it does not divulge much to it's bearers except that it can help them, in their time of utmost need - as long as it's bearer will help it, when it demands it.

Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
