This suit of plate mail is created with overlocking scales from black dragons. You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor. The attuned wearer also receives resistance to acid damage, a +2 bonus to Strength and +2 bonus to Constitution. The attribute bonuses will take the score above 20, but will not stack with other attribute bonuses.The item also causes a -2 bonus to Intelligence and -2 bonus to Charisma that should also be applied. 

Once per long rest the wearer can, as an action, polymorph (as the spell) into a Black Dragon Wyrmling for 1hour, statistics as Monster Manual, however, you retain your alignment. The wearer is required to concentrate on the spell whilst it is active. The spell can only be cast on your self.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
