Wondrous Item, uncommon
Each of the quiver's three compartments connects to an extradimensional space that allows the quiver to hold numerous items while never weighing more than 2 pounds. The shortest compartment can hold up to sixty arrows, bolts, or similar objects. The midsize compartment holds up to eighteen javelins or similar objects. The longest compartment holds up to six long objects, such as bows, quarterstaffs, or spears.
You can draw any item the quiver contains as if doing so from a regular quiver or scabbard.
Notes: Utility, Container
1. Would removing a larger item from this container (bow, javelin, etc.) take your action, or would it be a free action just as removing an arrow from the same container would be?
2. Would other weapons (swords, axes, morning stars) be able to be stored in this, and if so, which compartment would fit which?
6 Staffs in the large section
18 Rods in the middle
and 60 Wands in the smallest section ( yea I know the “cost”)
your caster just became the ultimate siege platform!!!
With 6 staffs and 18 rods now you just need some rope to make a ladder....
How do you planing to attune them? :D
If you roll it up tightly and put no other items in the middle slot, can you store a bedroll?
All of these things are up to your DM to decide, I personally would allow it
Who needs attunement slots when you have 60 Wands of Magic Missiles and a Rod of Security for emergencies?
Bring friends, and have them all be Artificers ...lol!
that or 60 wands of magic missile for the town folk!!!
Hey Guys, quick question, is it possible to store 60 darts and/or Daggers into the smallest compartment?
Well, are darts or daggers similar to arrows or bolts?
I would say yes to darts, as real throwing darts are comparable to arrows in thickness, though they are also notably shorter; wands are kind of in the same boat there. Daggers are a bit trickier (they're notably thicker?), but I'd still allow it due to their length.
Could you put short items in the mid/long sections? ie just store 84 arrows
Personally, I would say that putting short items in the longer sections would render them unretrievable (without additional effort, i.e. not a free action) during combat. Think: trying to pull a pencil out of an umbrella stand.
Can someone tell me if there's an Adventurer's League Module that drops this? I'm only wondering to win an argument with my friend.
Any guesses as to the weight limit capacity? My party wants to use it like a bag of holding to stash money.
no not really, since it always weighs 2 pounds. you could use it as a bag of holding, but similar to what someone else was saying , it would be difficult to retrieve the money (if you put gold in the spear section, the only way to get it out would be dumping it out, as spears are about 5-6 ft long, and your arm can't reach that far). So unless you want to dump out all your money every time you're purchasing something, it's not the smartest idea.
Or roll it in a large stack of coins with something around it tho that would still be inconvinient since you´d have to unroll to get em out
as a DM with unlimited arrows how would this work!?
Something I'm wondering is if these extradimensional spaces have a bottom, or if they just have a size capacity with no uniform "space."
