Wondrous Item, uncommon
Each of the quiver's three compartments connects to an extradimensional space that allows the quiver to hold numerous items while never weighing more than 2 pounds. The shortest compartment can hold up to sixty arrows, bolts, or similar objects. The midsize compartment holds up to eighteen javelins or similar objects. The longest compartment holds up to six long objects, such as bows, quarterstaffs, or spears.
You can draw any item the quiver contains as if doing so from a regular quiver or scabbard.
Notes: Utility, Container
technicly there is a defined space with walls of leather, but this is a case that hand waving it prevents games from coming to a screeching halt.
Multiple DMs have allowed me to plastically define the spacial dimensions of my haversack's side pouch so that I could stow my rapier in it ( 6" x 6" x 4' ). The rapier occupied far less than 1 cubic foot, it was just longer than the most uniform set of dimensions imaginable (1' x 1' x 1'). Also the side pouchs look like they are only about 6 inches wide.
This property is pretty heavily implied by examples given for bags of holding such as lances, and spears. Since rules lawyering about this brings games to a halt, usually it is just waived away ---- and it should be. These items are made to keep people worrying about piddly details. It's why they are common.
I like the idea of a quiver which is bigger on the inside than the outside. This is just like a bag of holding.
mabye the wizard is a half orc and breaks wands all the time
I have a dedicated wizard making these, I am currently requiring 6 months for each one created, is that too long too short?
Would this count as an object that you shouldn't put in a Bag of Holding?
10 arrows a day be come Enchanted with magic poison that half the damage delt recovers the shooter hp
Could you use this to keep a poisoned arrow without it loosing it's effect?
Would daggers be small or midsized by the quivers definition?
Wouldn't it be more efficient to do ammo (I'd rule thrown weapons as ammo), 1 handed, 2 handed?
This should be a common item.
