Armor made from the cured bark of the Xyxl tree is stronger and lighter than steel and possesses the unique ability to nourish its wearer.  The source of the Xyxl tree's immense durability is the mithral particles it secretes in a rigid lattice throughout its wood.  The art of curing the slow-growing Xyxl bark is known to but a few denizens of the Feywilds to which it is native.
