Weapon (warhammer), artifact (requires attunement by a creature of good alignment)

This gorgeous gold decorated, marble headed warhammer radiates a holy light from the pommel and head. The head of the hammer has been crafted with a large blunt side that tapers off into carved flames on the back. A golden ribbon wraps around the hammers handle, just beneath the crest of Bahamut that resides under the hammers head. The handle has two large golden rings near the top and bottom to prevent the hammer from sliding out of the user's grip and ends with a pommel crafted to look like a rising sun.

Sentience. The Savior of All is a sentient lawful good weapon with an Intelligence of 17, a Wisdom of 20, and a Charisma of 20. It has hearing and darkvision out to 120 feet.

The weapon communicates telepathically with its wielder and can speak, read, and understand all languages.

Personality. A prideful deva named Dentus lives within The Saviour of All. The weapon values the safety of those weaker than their wielder or the deva themselves and encourages its wielder to strike down beings who have performed evil deeds in its presence. It pushes its wielder to perform acts of heroism and praises them for protecting those weaker than themselves.

Dormant

The warhammer grants the following benefits while in its dormant state:

  • You can speak, read and write in Celestial, Draconic, Abyssal, and Infernal.
  • You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magical weapon. When you hit a creature with this weapon you deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage.
  • Deva’s Blessing. You can use an action to touch a creature while the hammer remains on your person, healing the target for (4d8+4) hit points. You cannot use the ability again until the next dawn.

Awakened

When the warhammer reaches its awakened state, it gains the following properties:

  • The weapon's bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +2 and the extra radiant damage dealt by the weapon increases to 2d8.
  • The hit points restored by the Deva’s Blessing ability increase to (6d8+6) and the target is freed from any curses, disease, poison, blindness, and deafness.
  • Bulwark of the Fallen. When an allied creature you can see within 30 feet of you drops to zero hit points while you are wielding the warhammer, you can use your reaction to immediately teleport to a space within 5 feet of that creature in a blaze of radiant flames. If the allied creature was reduced to zero hit points as the result of an attack from another creature, you can choose to instead teleport within 5 feet of the attacking creature and make an attack against them with the warhammer. You can do this as long as you can see the attacking creature and that creature is within 30 feet of you when they made their attack. This property can't be used again until the next dawn.

Exalted

When the warhammer reaches its exalted state, it gains the following properties:

  • The hit points restored by the Deva’s Blessing ability become 70, and the creature can use a reaction to stand up from prone when they are healed.
  • When you use the Bulwark of the Fallen ability, if you have teleported within 5 feet of the creature that was reduced to 0 hit points, you may also immediately use Deva’s Blessing targeting that creature if you still have a charge of the ability remaining. If you do not have a charge of Deva’s Blessing, the creature instead regains 1 hit point and can use its reaction to stand up from prone. You can use the Bulwark of the Fallen ability an additional time before having to wait till dawn for it to recharge.

Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
