The Yalack tree is famous for it's sweet scent when in bloom during the summertime, but it is even more revered for it lightweight properties, strength, yet flexibility. And cost. Only the finest bows in the land are made from Yalack. A normal Yalack Longbow has increased accuracy and damage from the property of the wood. However, this unique bow features a double limb system created by a crafty Artificer. As a result, this bow deals even further additional damage, as a result of the increased power in which it delivers it's arrow, but at the cost of increased strength required to use it. There is a legend of an Orc hunter who used a Yalack compound bow to defend his family from hungry bears. With one iron tipped arrow, he killed both bears in one shot. While this isn't quite as powerful as a Yalack compound bow, it still has the ability to penetrate through a target on a crit, regardless of armor. If the archer is using steel tipped arrows, the crit threshold is reduced by one. On a successful crit, the arrow penetrates through the target, hitting the next target behind it for 1d10 damage. Once per long rest, the archer can roll with advantage to attempt to penetrate through a target's shield to hit the defender behind it. If using steel tipped arrows for this attempt, cover is ignored, and the targets AC is reduced by 2 for that attack attempt

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
