The magical rapier has a reach of ten feet and deals an additional 2D6 of piercing damage. As an action, you may speak the command word to have the weapon quickly extend to its full length in a sudden flash. Any creature in a ten-foot line must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 4D6 damage on a failed save or half on a success. (This feature can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest.)
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
