Weapon (flail), legendary (requires attunement)

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Whenever you hit a creature with a melee attack using this weapon you can choose one of four additional effects. You can use each effect only once per turn.

1. The attack deals 2d12 additional bludgeoning damage.

2. The creature must succeed on a constitution saving throw (DC 17) or be paralyzed until the start of your next turn.

3. The creature must succeed on a wisdom saving throw (DC 17) or fall under the effect of a Confusion spell until the start of your next turn. You dont need to concentrate on the spell.

4. The creature must succeed on a strength saving throw (DC 17) or be pushed 15 ft away from you and fall prone. Creatures larger than you aren't affected by this.

 

Proficiency with a Flail allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
