Originally a ceremonial blade for the infamous Cult of the Crawling Shadow, it fell into the hands of the warlock, Katharius. This blade was wielded against the Cult of the Crawling Shadow and their Nightmarish Shadow Creatures. Despite only being a ceremonial blade, it had a unique trait, it could absorb the essences of the enemies it has felled and grow stronger. After slaying the head of the Cult of the Crawling Shadow, the blade reached its limit in growing in its current form. The only way to let it evolve further was to reforge it into a proper Shar Katai Blade, which was later made true. It was reforged to fit its wielder and grow beyond its past limits.
