A coat of speckled seal fur, thrumming with an ancient energy that calls to the holder to wrap themselves in its hold. It feels entirely weightless when worn, but retained the body's heat to keep the wearer warm in the coldest weather. An individual with a sinister heart will feel chilled and sea-soaked if they attempt to wear this coat.

In order to attune to the Seal Coat, the wearer must Long Rest at the side of a body of water. It is there they will dream of the Sea Mother's embrace, allowing them to attune to the ancient energy imbued into the furs.

After attunement, an individual is able to Wildshape as a Bonus Action into a Seal (CR 0). The attuned now classifies as Fey, but do not benefit from the same immunities and resistances outright. It is left to DM's discretion how an attuned individual is to go about obtaining these features. The attuned cannot be made to shed their seal coat without this action being their will. Their connection to the Sea Mother cannot be severed by anything short of divine intervention.

If a seal coat is stolen after being willfully removed, the attuned is compelled to immediate hostility towards the holder. This compulsion remains until the coat is returned to the attuned, under any circumstance. 

While attuned, the individual is able to expend the charges on the cloak to activate the spell Water Breathing, even if they are not wearing the coat at the moment.
