A brass spyglass with a mundane appearance at first glance. However, when the eye glass is extended, there are intricate carvings of sailors dancing surrounded by eyes looking inward at them. The lenses at the end of the spyglass appears to house an eyeball within, but when looking through the spyglass vision is not obscured and it appears to function like a normal spyglass.

Looking through The Seadog's Spyglass magnifies any person, place, or object to two times its normal size. In darkness the spyglass cannot see beyond 60ft using darkvision. Once per short or long rest, the user of The Seadog's Spyglass can sing a sea shanty and the carvings along the side glow and begin to shift along the spyglass. As long as the sea shanty is being sung, the user can see the aura of any magical being or object perceived through the spyglass. The moment the user stops singing the spyglass immediately stops revealing magical auras to the user and functions normally as a spyglass. The magical ability of The Seadog's Spyglass is fully replenished when the user closes their eyes during a rest of more than 20 minutes.
