A rusted steel compass, Its hands worn and aged ravaged by time. The Face cracked and warn. To most it is a broken non funcitional adventure tool, due to the hands pointing what appears to be random direction at any given time. However, Behind this facade, is a hidden meaning.

Apperance 

As Stated before, This Compass is extremely Unremarkable, Outside of the wear of time on it. Its Former steel coating is rusted coating the metal in a dark brown hue. When opening the case and looking at the compass, Its Hands appear to have at one point had engravings in them, what appear to be old dwaven runes, however whatever they said are unreadable due to the amount of scraches and marks on them. The North,South,East and West are written clearly however, in a elven scrift, almost as if it was added recently. golden flakes from this writing are caught up in the broken glass on the compass face as the glass casing is shattered. 

When the Hands Move, The move with an extremely Audible Mechanical whir that always ends with sound of wind chimes

After 4 Hours of somebody holding this compass, The Compass hands will move and point to that persons deep down greatest desire, It will point in this direcetion restlessly no matter the conditions (Such as the compass is able to work in areas of anti magic or areas where nagivation is magically impossible). When the person arrives at there destination, the compass will make a loud mechnical click and both hands will point north However, It will point to the persons deep down greatest desire, which if the user has't internalized this, some are driven to madness by not seeing what they thought they would see

If somebody else takes the compass, it takes 4 hours and then process will continue for the new person. If the orginal holder or any previous holders touch the compass it takes 4 hours longer to attune to them every time they lose or trade the compass
