Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement by a a creature present at the demise of Krathor)

A beautiful curved black bladed scimitar. The blade seems to be etched and inlaid with silvered celestial star charts, depicting the arcs and positions of solar bodies. The hilt seems to have been replaced with dark wooden bark, wrapped in new leather. A medallion is forged into the end of the hilt, a coin a carving in the shape of a cat's cradle. This weapon hums almost inaudibly, only noticeable in complete silence. It is also abnormally heavy, but when slashing almost feels like it loses some of its weight.

This scimitar carries the damage die and traits of a longsword and carries 1 charge that can be used to activate the following abilities (the charge is recovered on a long rest):

  • Fateweaver’s Gamble- As a bonus action you can channel the power of the sword to see the threads of fate. Roll a d6. On a 1 you gain no bonus, on a 2-4 you gain advantage on attack rolls with Fateweaver for the remainder of your turn, on a 5-6 you gain triple advantage (3 d20 rolls) for the remainder of your turn. This accuracy cannot be reduced.
  • Witch Fate's Guidance- As a ritual you lay the sword on the ground and place both hands on the blade and cast one of the following spells as a 10 minute ritual: Detect Magic, Locate Object, or Augury. When casting these rituals the scimitar’s inlays glow, projecting floating ethereal star charts in a dome around the caster.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Magical Weapon, a creature present at the demise of Krathor, Versatile, Sap
