The Serpent Crown resembles a coiled, seven-headed serpent and is made of an unknown green metal.  Each serpent head is inset with thumb sized ruby.  Dedicated to the malevolent seven-headed serpent God Set.  To whom the crown holds a mystical link from which it draws its powers.  ( known as Typhon in the lands of Thay and Unther, and Zehir to the yuan-ti race).  The Serpent Crown is a powerful mystical and very dangerous object which is worn upon the head. It confers the ability to read and control minds (anyone within the sound of the voice of the one wearing the crown), the power to levitate and telekinetically move others and objects, it bestows the ability to create elaborate illusions, and the ability to create poison at will.  The crown was said to be created by Set himself and is rumored to be how the Yuan-ti were created.  The crown is a conduit to their god.  And prolonged exposure to the Crown will alter the user.
