Weapon (musket), very rare (requires attunement)

You have a +2 to attack and damage rolls with this rifle.

The Serpent's Kiss is a high caliber field rifle (60/120, 1d12 Piercing damage), and has a facet on the left side of the trigger housing. This facet might accommodate a stone or a gem.

Currently, there is a pearl (3000gp value) set in the facet on the left side. This pearl holds 1d3 charges when found, and replenishes 1d3 charges each dawn. If the last charge is used from the pearl, roll a d20. On a 1, the pearl loses its enchantment. The pearl may be replaced with another gem or stone under conditions set by the DM reflecting the difficulty of finding the components, cost, and magical workmanship, for example.

As a free action, the wielder may use one charge to gain an additional +2 to hit against any target that has not taken an action or noticed them. This charge is spent before the attack roll. If the result is a hit, it is a critical hit.

As a bonus action, the wielder may use 2 charges to cast Haste upon themselves. When cast in this way, Haste does not require concentration, but the duration is halved. The wielder is still impacted by the spell ending as per spell description.

Proficiency with a Musket allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Loading, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Slow
