These spectacles are the perfect fit for whatever occasion, and take whatever shape you will them to. While using one of the benefits of these spectacles, their form alters slightly in accordance with the benefit, e.g. blinders or shades appearing when protecting you from effects that would blind you, or shifting into a telescope to zoom when ignoring cover when attacking enemies.
While wearing these lenses, you have the following benefits:
- darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, wearing the spectacles increases its range by 60 feet;
- advantage on saving throws against being blinded;
- you can use an action while wearing the glasses to cast the comprehend languages spell from them. The spell ends early if you remove them; and
- your ranged weapon attacks may ignore half cover and three-quarters cover a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Additionally, you may attempt to use these glasses to further alter your ability to see. As an action, you may attempt to cast one of the following spells. To do so, you must roll a percentile dice (2d10, or 1d100) and roll higher than the number next to the spell. If you fail to cast the spell, roll 1d20. On a 1, the glasses loose all properties except the ability to grant you darkvision. On a success, you cannot use this feature until you complete a long rest.
