Yew Bow
• This weapon is a +2 Longbow, dealing an extra 1d6 of Cold damage. It also gains the ability to pierce an enemy's weak point as a reaction when they attack you or an ally. Force the enemy to make a Dexterity saving throw (DC is 15). On a fail, they are stunned until the end of your next turn. You may use this ability three times, regaining all uses on a long rest.
• Along with enhancing your weapon, your loyal companion gains superb strength. As a bonus action, your animal companion can grow one size category larger, and deal an extra d6 of damage with their natural weapons. They also gain temporary health points equal to your Ranger level. This effect lasts for one minute and can be used twice a day.
• The bows light frame increases your mobility, giving you an extra 10 ft of movement speed.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
