This simple quicksilver ring carries the foul stench of old ass. When attuned, the bearer can expend a charge to cast the spell Haste on themselves but suffers from a decrease in their sense of smell.

While attuned to this ring, Wisdom(Perception) checks made using the creature's sense of smell are done at disadvantage.

The effects of this spell only last one round and the user is not afflicted with the lethargy associated with the end of the effects of Haste.

The ring has a single charge. Expended charges can be regained after a long rest. During the long rest, the Ring of Momentary Alacrity must be tucked between the attuned's buttcheeks.

Notes: Disadvantage: Perception, Firmly grasp the ring between your buttcheeks and sprint for 100 meters without dropping it. Attuning to this ring in this way requires a successful DC 14 Strength (Athletics) or DC 14 Dexterity (Acrobatics). A creature without buttcheeks cannot attune to this item.
