A dark leather bag tied shut with a black cord. When opened and investigated, it is revealed to be holding many small carved bones, upon closer inspection, it is revealed to be the finger bones of humanoid children.
Player must attune to the bones to be able to cast them. When the player asks a question into the bag and shakes it for 10 seconds, the bag then opens and 1d10 bones are dropped onto the closest surface to the bag. Casting the bones casts a Divination spell as an action.
May only be used once per long rest. Identify will discern the magical nature of this item, but a DC 20 Arcane check is needed to discern the nature of the curse.
Curse:
Every time the player utilizes the Throwing Bones they must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 20+). Failing this save means the players hit point maximum decreases by 1d4 until the curse is broken or the players hit point maximum is reduced to 0 and the player dies.
The curse can be removed if the Throwing Bones are targeted by a remove curse spell or similar magic. Once the curse is removed the player regains all hit points lost.
