[A Pact Keeper’s Promise Stage III]
This weapon now functions as a +2 weapon as its inherent magic grows.
- While holding this blade, you gain a bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your warlock spells. This bonus currently is +3.
- When you use your Crimson Rite you may will the sword as a free action to have spikes protrude from the sword’s grip piercing your hand(s). Doing this extends the blade’s reach by 5 ft. as your blood seeps into the cracks of the blade and breaks the sword into sections connected by blood, but damages you an extra 1d4.
- In addition, you can regain one warlock spell slot as an action while holding the sword. This property has two charges and resets on a short rest.
[Elemental Adept]
- Once per turn when you use your action to attack you may expend one of your spell recovery charges to instead add an additional boost to the total damage with an elemental effect. You can choose the damage type when you use this property. (Cold, Fire, or Lightning) and the damage is an additional 1d8.
- You may also choose to add this damage after you know you have hit or missed your target.
[Ranged Retaliation]
When you use your action to attack with this blade you may use its new ranged property to fire a segment of the blade at your target. This first attack is still a 1d8.
- As a bonus action you may recall the fired segment back as another attack whether it is the same turn or not.
- This attack's damage type is 1d6 magical slashing damage.
- Range of 5-30 Ft. Disadvantage within 5 Ft. and over 30 Ft.
- If the fired segment is not returned the damage dice on the blade is reduced to the next lowest dice level for melee attacks. (1d8->1d6->1d4)
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
