Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a Someone who knows how to spin an epic yarn.)

An unassuming coin pilfered from the desk an unassuming man.

The coin’s faces are smooth, featureless and lustrous.

At the start of each day an attuned creature may regale the coin with a story who’s main character displays traits (an available class) they’d like to emulate. A symbol that represents the character is embossed on one face of the coin (i.e. crossed axes for barbarian, a bow for ranger).

As a free action the attuned creature may flip the coin. To do so roll a D20. The starting DC is 0. On a success the coin lands on the embossed face and the user gains access to a single class feature available at level 5 or lower from the class features the embossed symbol on the coin represents for one round. On a failure, the coin lands on the smooth face and the user must roll on the wild magic table.

The attuned creature may repeat the roll and gain this effect with a DC that increases by 5 for each success. After the fourth successful use, the embossing disappears and the coin is inert until the start of the next day. The number of uses the coin has remaining reset at the start of each day regardless how many uses are remaining.
