While you are holding this leather-bound binder, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells, and you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells.

You can use this binder as a spellbook. When you use your Arcane Recovery feature, you can increase the number of spell slot levels you regain by 1. In addition, it already has 3 spells inscribed inside it: Silvery Barbs, Intellect Fortress and Immolation

This binder is made of supple black leather and has multiple pockets. An ingenious mechanism of 3 metal rings allows one to add or remove pages in any order. There is a faint inscription inside the cover written in Undercommon that reads:

Three rings to rule them all
Three rings to find them
Three rings to bring them all
And in the darkness, bind them
