This dark cloak exudes a small dark smoke and appears to a mass of black feathers that move on their own. Every so often you may notice several ravens eyes peering through the cloaks many feathers. It bears the symbol of Raven Queen inlaid with bone and silver that clasps the cloak to its wearer. While you wear the holy symbol, you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells.
While you wear this cloak, you can use your Channel Divinity feature without expending one of the feature’s uses. Once this property is used, it can’t be used again until the next dusk.
You have immunity to necrotic damage.
You are Immune to the effects of the Spell Power Word Kill. You also ignore the effects of a spell requires you to go to 0 hit points - (Example - Disintegrate does damage but if it drops you to zero hit points the body stays intact).
When you are reduced to zero hit points, you must make a Wisdom Saving Throw DC - 5 + Damage that you would have taken past zero to a Maximum of 30. (Example - You have 20 hit points remaining, you are hit with 35 fire damage, 20 minus the 35 would leave 15 remaining making the DC 20). On a successful save you return to 1 Hit point and the DC increases by 5. On a failed save you return to 1 Hit Point and suffer 1 level of exhaustion. DC of the save resets at dusk everyday.
While wearing the cloak you may tap into your own life force to do the following items. Exhaustion gained this way occurs after combat or your turn if the 6th level of Exhaustion is gained.
- You may take 2 Levels of Exhaustion to Empower Path to the Grave to select 4 targets or 4 Attacks.
- You may gain 1 - 5 Levels of Exhaustion to restore double the spell level of that gained (Example 2 Levels 4th Level Spell or divided)
*Character Death requires GM to roll D100
