Armor (shield), rare (requires attunement)

While holding the Saucer, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

The Saucer has 3 charges which renew every dawn. You may spend 1 or more of these charges to activate the Saucer's magical effect as an action during your turn. The magical effect is a casting of the spell, Magic Circle, but with the following edits:
This spell's cast time is 1 action instead of 1 minute. This spell's duration is 2 rounds instead of 1 hour. When a charge is spent to use this spell, select which of the three effects the circle will take on. Additional charges may be spent to include more than 1 of the spell's effects. Additional charges may be spent to increase the length of time the spell remains in effect by 2 rounds per charge.
To activate this spell's inverse effect of containing a specified type of creature, the Saucer must make physical contact with the creature (it cannot be thrown and still activate this ability).
The spell save DC for this spell is 15 if the person using this ability does not have a spell save DC higher than 15.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
