The sword’s purpose is to ferry other dragon souls to the world of shadows. It doesn’t care the size, type, or age of the dragon. The sword believes that all mortals on Exandria have true enemies, the ones that twisted Karketh and his sister's minds, the elder evils. The Sable End still wishes to defend the material planes from their infinite hunger.
The Sable End grows bored easily, if its wielder is not actively seeking to grow a hoard of treasure and mementos from other dragons, a conflict between wielder and blade is imminent.
