A piece of thin opaque glass that when looked into seems to show a shadowy version of ones reflection. This item was a relic from a time before even the gods when light had yet to grace the universe and only shadow and void existed.
Visions of Shadow. As an action you hold the mirror flat in your palm and speak the name of a creature you have are familiar with. Smoke will rise from the surface of the mirror and become wisps that represent the named creature as well as any sentient creature within 15ft of them. You will be able to hear words spoken by the named creature as well as those spoken to it by the other figures in the mirror. These wisps will remain until some action is taken that would disperse the smoke from its surface. While using it in this way, it will feel as if invisible spiders are constantly crawling up your arm.
Arcana of the Void. As an action you can cast one of the following spells from this mirror (DC15): Darkness, Major Image, Phantom Steed, Hex (You can cast it on the named creature when viewing it). Once you cast a spell in this way twice you cannot do so again until the next dusk.
Curse. Any source of nonmagical light within 20ft of the mirror is immediately extinguished. Additionally if this mirror is on your person for a cumulative week you gain a permanent minor detrimental property and you must succeed on a DC12 Wisdom saving throw after you complete a Long Rest or gain none of the associated benefits as your dreams are filled with distant and alien whispers. If you speak your own name into the mirror you must make a DC19 Charisma saving throw. On a failure your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores are reduced to 1 as you brain is unable to handle the influx of opposing information. On a success you instead take 6d12 psychic damage and gain a point of long-term madness.
