These light, ulterior weapons to the regular dagger were made more specifically for throwing rather than hand to hand combat, and using it as such may be difficult for some, despite it having no mechanical disadvantage. They have a longer range than daggers and comes in bundles of three, and their performance classifies them as more martial weapons.
Special. These weapons are designed mainly for throwing, making them less effective in melee. This weapon does 1d4 piercing damage when used for melee combat, rather than the normal 1d6.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
