Soulweave Surge: When wearing this enchanted coat, the wearer gains the ability to unleash a surge of dark necrotic energy for a burst of offensive and defensive power. Once per long rest, as a bonus action, the wearer can activate the coat's magical ability. Shadows swirl and coalesce around the coat, imbuing the wearer with the power of the underworld.

• Necrotic Bolts: For this round, the wearer's spell attacks deal an additional 1d4 necrotic damage. This extra damage increases to 1d6 at 5th level, 1d8 at 11th level, and 1d10 at 17th level.

• Drain Essence: While the ability is active, the wearer regains hit points equal to half the necrotic damage dealt whenever they successfully hit with a spell attack. The stolen life force then heals the wearer, sustaining them in battle.
