This arcane focus grants +3 to spell attack rolls and damage. Additionally, it allows you to cast plane shift 2/day without the material components. On the second cast, roll a d6 and on a 6, you gain an additional use of Plane Shift. It also gives the attuned creature access to the Imprisonment spell that can only be cast twice before this item loses this feature, creatures affected by an imprisonment spell cast by this item always know it's location.

Cursed: The artifact gives the attuned creature visions between the thin veil that separates the planes, once every 5 days, the creature must make a DC 15 wisdom saving throw or gain a level of exhaustion and roll on the long term madness chart (DMG pg 260). If a creature fails this saving throw more than twice within a 4 week period than they instead gain 2 levels of exhaustion and roll on the indefinite madness chart instead.

Additionally, when a spell is cast within 5ft of it by a non attuned creature, there is a 10% chance that the plane shift spell from this item goes off on a random target within range.
