When you hit with an attack using this magic sword, the target takes an extra 2d6 lightning damage. In addition, while you wield the warhammer, you have resistance to lightning damage. This warhammer has the Thrown property, with a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. Immediately after the Attack, the weapon flies back to your hand.
This warhammer contains 5 charges to cast spells. As long as it is attuned to you and in your hand, you can cast call lightning (2 charges) or lightning bolt (3 charges). Every night at midnight the warhammer recharges 1d4 + 1 charges. During lightning storms, this warhammer sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.
Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Lightning, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Push
Probably one of my favorite magical weapons! ^^
Missing a lot of modifiers. Doesn't have lightning bolt properly added for casting via charges, doesn't infer lightning resistance once attuned, Thrown property wasn't added. All relatively easy fixes. Also, the 2d6 lightning damage is apparently dealt by a sword? Not the Warhammer? (I know it's a typo, but RAW that would mean the Hammer doesn't get to benefit from the extra damage in play)
I created this item before charges, resistances or properties could be edited into items on the site hehe.
Honestly I can respect that. I remember the early days of D&D Beyond and the homebrew tools back then were painfully limited. Hopefully you don't take offense to my prior comment as it came from a place of ignorance.
None taken, it was funny remembering how long it felt we were waiting for that feature and how small a wait it was now it retrospect. Made me feel old
