This simple ring was forged by a mad mage. Made from the pounded flesh of a gelatinous cube and imbued with its bouncy yet sticky essence.
This ring allows the wearer as a reaction to (1d4-1) times per day deflect incoming damage back at an attacking creature. The attacking creature must make a DC15 Dexterity Saving Throw. On a failed save, the creature takes the full damage of the deflected attack and is restrained by green goo till the start of your next turn. The creatures movement speed is 0, attacks against the creature have advantage, the creature has disadvantage on melee attacks and disadvantage on Dexterity Saving Throws.
On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is immune to the ring for 10 minutes.
The ring can hold a maximum of 3 charges per day and all charges are reset at dawn.
