Wuuthroll, the Runefang, is a powerful blade that was made from Melora's very breath and gifted to a long forgotten and powerful archdruid and champion of the natural world, carrying the fury of the wilds within it.
Dormant State.
- You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
- Whenever you damage a living creature, that creature must roll a Constitution saving throw (save DC 13). On a failed save, Wuuthroll drains one point from the creature's Strength score and transfers it to the wielder (increasing to a maximum of 22 Strength) until the next short rest or long rest. Creatures brought to 0 Strength by this feature are slain.
Awakened State.
- The bonus to attack and damage rolls with this weapon increases to +2
- The save DC for the blades strength drain increases to 15
- The Strength score maximum increases to 25
- Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack using this blade, you can wound the target. At the start of each of the wounded creature's turns, it takes 1d8 necrotic damage for each time you've wounded it, and it can then make a Constitution saving throw (save DC 15) ending the effect of all such wounds on itself on a success. Alternatively, the wounded creature, or a creature within 5 feet of it, can use an action to make a DC 15 Wisdom (Medicine) check, ending the effect of such wounds on it on a success.
Exalted State.
- The bonus to attack and damage rolls with this weapon increases to +3
- The save DC for the blades Strength Drain and Wounding increases to 17
- The blades wound damage increases to 1d10 necrotic damage
- When you Strength score reaches 25, the blades reach extends to 10 feet. Additionally, when you are fighting a creature that has fewer than half of it's hit points, you deal an additional 2d6 slashing damage.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
