The rings of 'Parry This' are a ring set containing two dark iron rings, the ring of 'Parry' and the ring of 'This'. 

Both rings carry a simple band that is adorned with two opposing crowns. The ring of 'Parry' has a beautiful obsidian convex bowl while the ring a 'This' has a matching smooth obsidian gem that matches. These strange rings have the ability to absorb arcane energy and distribute it to another direction.

As a reaction you can absorb a spells energy into the ring of Parry and fire it back out of the ring of This. You cannot hold the energy in the ring of 'This'. If you do not expel the magic the energy fades. Absorbing a spell uses one charge. You can absorb a spell level equal to your wisdom modifier.
