This small, sturdy club feels unnaturally heavy for its size, yet is very well-balanced when held in the hand. Created long ago, the Rouxmaker is a combination of the two great passions of a long-dead mage; enchanting and cooking. The versatile tool allowed for both better cooking, and the ability to threaten his apprentices with dire punishment if their performance in either the kitchen or the library was subpar.
Careful examination of the club reveals a small switch, and pressing this switch causes the club to shift into one of three forms:
- The haft shortens and the club becomes notably lighter, and a delicate filigree of a small whisk appears at the end, suitable for light beating and mixing.
- The haft thickens, and the end transforms into a thicker, more robust whisk, suitable for batter, dough, or other heavier mixing needs.
- The whisk end vanishes, and the club becomes a +1 club, dealing magical bludgeoning damage. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Regardless of form, when holding the Rouxmaker, you are granted exceptional cooking skills, and, you have tool proficiency with Cook's Utensils. The Rouxmaker grants a +3 to any cooking-based proficiency check made while using it.
Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Proficiency: Cook's Utensils, Damage, Combat, Light, Slow
