A staff with an odd branching head which holds nine (9) pearls. Each of these glows with an ethereal light. The pearls can be removed from the staff and replaced later without destroying the magic of the item. The staff has one (1) charge which may be used to contain an entity to a specific location and plain of existence. There is no saving throw to avoid this effect. Following its use the pearls in the staff stop glowing losing their magical luster, not to regain it for a hundred years.
