The Scepter of Ovam'mura is one of Ruling Scepters of The Council of Seven Scepters, a union of the highborn giants ruling from the tallest spire of Jovatthon. It convenes annually for one week. Each giant civilization is represented by one giant, except for the cloud giants who have two kings on the council, to serve and keep the rulers of each city-state in check. Of the seven ruling giants, this scepter belong the Hillqueen Ovam'mura. Whom after being cast our of the council, she refused to relinquish her scepter. 

The Scepter of Ovam'mura is a spiraling mithral rod, with a small platinum knob at the bottom and a rounded disk adorned with a ring of seven tiny topaz gems at the top.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this scepter, which can be wielded as a magic club.

The scepter has 10 charges, and it regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges at dawn. Its properties are as follows:

  • As an action, you can expend 1 charges to cast the mold earth spell from the scepter.
  • As an action, you can expend 2 charges to cast the sending spell from the scepter.
  • As an action, you can expend 3 charges to cast the erupting earth spell from the scepter.
  • As an action, you can expend 8 charges to cast the dominate monster spell from the scepter. If the targeted creature is of giant race and are of a challenge rating of 14 or lower, they have disadvantage of their saving throw against this spell, regardless if they are in combat with you at the time of casting.

Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
