This armor is made from the treated bark of a Yggdrasti, made into hardened wood panels and splints to form the armor's shape. Due to its extremely light and fairly flexible nature, it is highly sought after even without regard to its inherent durability and resistance to lightning. This armor does not impose the usual penalties to movement speed, and has a strength requirement of 10, unlike typical splint mail.

This armor grants a +1 bonus to Armor Class and immunity to lightning damage.

This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
