Weapon (longsword), very rare (requires attunement by a by any creature proficient with longswords)

Soulbound. The shardblade attunes to its user and can be summoned or unsummoned using a bonus action. The shardblade cannot be taken from its wielder against their will while they are still alive. The shardblade can be willingly given to another wielder, who must pass a DC12 Wisdom check to successfully take over the bond.

Blade split. As an action, the user can split the shardblade from a longsword into two shortswords dealing the same damage as normal shortswords.

Shard magic. On a successful attack roll, the user can use their reaction to cause the sword to paralyse the creature they attacked. The creature must make a CON save against the wielder's spell save DC.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
