What looks like 2 slimmer sticks woven together a white glow comes from the top were the branches form a diamond shape. This glow pulses through the staff were carved lines carry the glow through out the staff. The staff shrinks and grows to the size of whoever is touching it. The glow produces dim light to 5 ft and can be hidden or covered.  

This staff adds a +1 to your magic modifier.

2 times per long rest you can use the Twined meta magic from a sorcerer, (When you cast a spell that targets only one creature and doesn’t have a range of self, you can target a second creature in range with the same spell. Cap at 2nd level spells.) or quicken meta magic (When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can change it to 1 bonus action. Cap at 2nd level spell.)
