The Living Scarab Charm is an exquisite and mysterious piece of jewelry that embodies both divine grace and treacherous dependency. When attuned to, it bestows the wearer with Aasimar abilities, but it comes at a price!
Benefits:
Darkvision:
You gain an additional ability to see in the dark, 60 feet.
Resistance:
You gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.
Healing Hands:
You always have the spell Cure Wounds prepared, regardless of class.
Once per long rest you can cast Cure Wounds without expending a spell slot.
Light Cantrip: You have the Light cantrip prepared at all times.
Dependency and Consequences:
Beware the cost of this charm's power. If you attune to the Living Scarab Charm and later lose it, you will face severe consequences:
Constitution Modifier Loss:
You lose your Constitution modifier when calculating hit points. Your body rejects the severed connection to the scarab, leaving you physically weakened.
Divine Spellcasting Impairment:
You can no longer cast divine spells granted by a god or divine entity. However, if you possess knowledge of arcane magic, you can still cast arcane spells.
You can remove these negative effects with remove curse. When Remove curse is casted roll a 1d6, on a roll of 4, 5, or 6, one effect is removed at random! (Greater Restoration Removes all effects without fail)
Notes: Sense: Darkvision, Resistance: Necrotic, Resistance: Radiant, from a willing humanoid
