Weapon (scimitar), rare (requires attunement by a Skilled Combatants)

The Serpents Bite is a long chain made of finely crafted steel links, glistening with a dark, polished finish. At the end of the chain, a wickedly sharp blade gleams like a serpent's fang, poised to strike. This exotic weapon combines the flexibility of a whip with the cutting power of a blade. 

"Lacerating Strike" : When you successfully hit a creature with a melee attack using this weapon, you can choose to deal an additional 1d4 slashing damage at the cost of reducing your movement speed to 0 feet until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature once per turn.

"Trip Attack" When you critically hit a creature with the Bladed Chain Whip, The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 13) or be knocked prone.

Constrict: When you make a successful attack with the Bladed Chain Whip, you can use a bonus action to attempt a grapple. The target must make a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) saving throw (their choice) with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier. If they fail, they are grappled. You can release the grapple as a free action.

When you attune to the Sepents Bite, you gain proficiency in Acrobatics and may use the whip to help traverse environments

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
