The small yellow object is vaguely shaped like a duck, though not realistically rendered. It is made of an unusual material which is not quite hard and not quite soft...rather, it's very squeezable. It emits a shrill squeak when you are about to get hit, alerting you to the incoming attack. Once per short rest you may roll a Dex Saving throw to avoid an attack that would otherwise hit.

Notes: You place the duck on your shoulder and squeeze it. It lets out a shrill squeak as it settles on your shoulder.
