These wraps appear as maroon velvet bindings around your body until activated. Once activated, they become shifting layers of maroon sand. While attuned with the wraps you gain the following traits and abilities:
Sandsight
While standing on sand, gravel, or another loose substrate you can tell where to most efficiently place your feet and do not suffer the penalties of difficult terrain. Additionally, you gain tremorsense within 30 feet of your position. This effect does not continue beyond the area of loose substrate.
Desert's Grasp
As a bonus action, you extend your grasp outwards, shooting a tendril of sand to envelope a target within 15 feet of you. It must succeed on a Strength saving throw with a DC equal to 12 plus your proficiency bonus or become restrained. It can repeat this throw at the end of each of its turns. As a bonus action, you can constrict a restrained creature, dealing 3d8 bludgeoning damage.
Sandstorm
As an action you can command the sand to pull you across a gap or cling you to a ceiling within 30 feet of you. As a reaction to falling more than 10 feet, you can also command them to soften your fall. If you use this ability to prevent fall damage in such a manner, all fall damage is negated. If you fall more than 60 feet, you land prone.
The wraps have 3 charges. Each use of the Sandstorm or Desert's Grasp abilities expends one charge. Any depleted charges are replenished an hour after sundown every day.
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
